The Heinrich Mayer GmbH located in the Baden-Württemberg town of Meßstetten-Unterdigisheim is a family-owned enterprise run by the second generation. It was founded by Heinrich Mayer as a traditional textile printing company in 1974. In 2002, Michael Steidle and his wife Claudia took over the executive management. Over the past years, they transformed the company into a successful supplier of comprehensive solutions in the area of technical textiles. In addition to the traditional printing methods ranging from roller to screen,
or digital to rotary printing, Textildruckerei Mayer’s service portfolio includes innovative coatings on various supporting materials, hybrid textiles, and versatile composite materials.
CERAPUR: The patented 3D hard coating made of ceramic that was developed by Textildruckerei Mayer can be used to protect the surfaces of sensitive materials and offers a broad range of functionalities. It can be antibacterial, dirt repellent, flame resistant, or conductive - its applications are almost unlimited. CERAPUR-coated materials are, for example, used in upholstery or seat covers, in the automotive industry, or for heating interior trim panels in electric vehicles.
Hybrid textiles: These “smart“ textiles combine several functions. When combined with different coatings, they can be used for heating, illumination, and can even be used for sensor- based switching.
