DIGEL Sticktech GmbH and Co. KG was founded in 2006, from the former Digel Stickdesign. Since 2002, they have been consistently improving the transfer and refining of the embroidery processes for the finishing of fashion textiles, and in other technical fields of application. This is the basis for the continuing success of DIGEL Sticktech GmbH and Co. KG.

2D Fiber-Preform – so-called TFP = Tailored Fiber Placement

Advantages of this process ...

  • With this method, the results of flux of force and stress calculations can be effectively converted into a textile structure. These structures can have different local fiber orientation and quantities of fibers.
  • With this method, it is possible to produce a preform with hardly any waste. The almost exclusive use of carbon roving results in a reduction of costs, and at the same time, it solves the problem of the disposal of residues and remnants.
  • One major advantage is the high level of reproducibility. The reproducibility of the cord deposit is +/- 0.3 mm. Currently, material thicknesses of up to 8 mm are possible.
  • Missing cut parts or incorrect insertion are not possible. Due to the various sensors that control the thread ten- sions, it is also not possible to “warp” the roving.
